Estilo de Surf para el escenario
2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the Mustang. Introduced in the 1960s as a student model, the Mustang nonetheless soon found its way to into professional hands and onto concert stages worldwide. The celebratory Limited Edition American Shortboard Mustang features an ash body with laminated walnut “competition” stripes that pay stylishly crafted homage to the originals, with the pure, full sound of dual new SB-90 single-coil pickups.
ASH BODY WITH WALNUT COMPETITION STRIPE
Strong and dense, ash is a longtime classic for electric instrument bodies. Notably resonant and sweet sounding, it’s characterized by clearly chiming highs, well-defined midrange and strong low end. It also features an attractive grain that takes lighter-colored finishes especially beautifully.
SB-90 SINGLE-COILS
Channel fatter, smokier single-coil tones with a pair of SB-90 single-coil pickups—a perfect match for the aggressive sound and attitude of the Mustang guitar.
